This Easter season, Pinterest is abundant with fresh ideas re-inventing the classic Easter Egg.  From chalkboard paint to gold foil, and neon dips to watercolor, the trends in the event industry are translating directly to this fun holiday tradition.  Here are a few of our favorites!

A lovely bridal shower at 1149 Restaurant just a few weeks ago was a fun gathering of friends to honor bride-to-be Tamara.  Fresh white tulips and hints of the navy and white wedding colors were used throught the modern space.  Fun games like "air the dirty laundry" where guests wrote down funny stories about the couple, and "mad libs" vows were played as Tamara opened her gifts and good wishes.  Guests enjoyed 1149's amazing brunch buffett along with white and red sangria, and a delicioius and beautiful celebration cake from Scrumptions!  Before leaving, guests wrote a recipe for the bride-to-be on watercolor cards that matched the shower invitations from Wedding Paper Divas.  What fun!
