A Celebration to Remember – Real Weddings

At the beginning of Maggie and Matt’s venue hunt they were told the JFK Presidential Library & Museum wasn’t hosting weddings, but that policy could change in the future. After months of follow-ups Maggie and Matt’s patience and persistence were rewarded; their wedding would be the first ever to be held at this breathtaking and unique venue.

1. A darling embrace overlooking Boston Harbor before returning to their guests.

2. The nine-story glass atrium provided 360 views of the Boston skyline and the sparkling ocean below as guests mingled and sipped cocktails.

3. A simply elegant menu card reveals the feast about to be served.

4. A whimsical bubble umbrella shelters the newlyweds from a light summer sprinkle.

5. Bountiful white flora bloomed from a milky-white vase, greeting guests as they found their table.

6. The team at Designlight transformed Smith Hall into a magical light garden complete with leafy orbs dancing along the walls.

7. Classic meets modern in this ballroom filled with all white décor and floral arrangements.

Magnetizing Beauty at Boston Park Plaza

The alluring grandeur of the ballroom at Boston Park Plaza was a flawless landscape for this classic wedding.

Joanna envisioned a modern twist on the classic all-white wedding. Partnering with Nicole Simeral of Simeral & Co. she was able to make this vision a reality. Joanna’s gown inspired nearly all the design elements. The fitted bodice featured a traditional lace pattern that flowed into a modern geometric organza skirt embroidered with a floral motif. That floral motif was carried throughout the rest of the wedding design from the paper goods to the lighting. The floral pattern was projected onto the white dance floor while guests dined and as soon as it was time to dance the pattern scaled the walls and ceiling, enchanting every guest in the ballroom. Immense silver urns filled with a breathtaking abundance of fresh white flowers and deep greenery evoked polished glamour, completing the overall look of grandeur. “The gray and metallic color scheme of the newly renovated ballroom was an incredible match for the style!” Joanna raved.

A Mid-Century Modern Marriage at the Ritz

The mid-century décor of The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common was modernized with floral arrangement in classic hues.

Emily and Brandon had a vision of a classic black tie wedding  that evoked elegance, but still had an element of fun. ”I was inspired by the mid-century decor at the Ritz, particularly the bar area in the front lobby and the Italian handmade chandeliers in the ballroom,” Emily described. Modern floral arrangements in warm neutral tones combined with the decor of the Ritz made Emily and Brandon’s vision a beautiful reality.

Stolen smooches in the front lobby and bar that sold Emily on the Ritz-Carlton.

Emily and Brandon were married under an exquisite canopy of lush, bountiful greens sprinkled with pops of rosy blossoms.

Gilded edge translucent chargers from Be Our Guest infused the table with modern elegance.

Soft blossoms filled mercury glass goblets and tall silver urns creating dimension at each table.

Surrounded by the best women in her life, Emily married the man of her dreams.

Petite bouquets of roses and chartreuse greens popped against deep forest green bridesmaid gowns.

The perfect ending to the perfect night.

Dramatic Elegance – A Wedding at Cyclorama

An urban space is transformed into a dramatic, industrial garden under the talented direction of Simeral & Co.

Rebecca and Roman looked up at the soaring ceiling with an iron grid suspended above a center skylight as they walked along the exposed brick floors — this was the raw, urban space they had searched for. With a guest list extending over 300 people they needed vast space and stellar team of visionaries to transform it; Nicole Simeral was the only choice for Rebecca and Roman. “Nicole curated a team of professionals with matching energies, each with individual creative genius and eager to create something unique,” Rebecca raved. Custom-designed chandeliers of greenery and crystal orbs hung from the iron grid creating a dramatic garden-like vibe and drawing focus to the dance floor. A mix of mirrored and custom-made graffiti tables topped with vintage candelabras seamlessly fused urban-industrial style with sophisticated elegance; a true balance in the art of juxtaposition that resulted in the creation of a magically, enchanting space for their wedding.
