Ballet Pink & Glamorous Gold – Color Theory

Soft pink blossoms and shimmering gold accents created a romantic ambiance in the timelessly elegant ballroom at the Providence Biltmore hotel in Providence.

Channeling her inner Audrey Hepburn, Stephanie imagined a classic summer wedding that she could look back on in fifty years and still love her gown, flowers, and décor. “When we first visited the Providence Biltmore hotel, we knew instantly that we wanted to have our reception in the Grand Ballroom. The beauty of the ballroom speaks for itself and we knew we would be able to create a classic, timeless ambiance for our wedding,” Stephanie raved. Shimmery gold linen covered every table complimenting the gilded architecture of the Grand Ballroom. Blush and cream roses romanced the room with their light summery scent. The day was perfect and its enduring style will be remembered for years to come.

Romance in Bloom – Real Wedding

The inherent romance that embodies Rosecliff Mansion made it the perfect place to host their fairy tale wedding.

Their entire relationship had been like a fairy tale. The first trip they took together as a couple was to Newport. While touring the mansion they both looked at each at the same time and said “this would be a perfect place to have a wedding.” It was fate. The gilded architecture complimented Marisa’s love for pink and white flowers. Sayles Livingston Design covered every surface with romantic blooms. Each table held a floral sphere of pink and white blossoms that were dripping with crystals. The grand staircase was lined white flora and candles further romancing the room. Even the sweetheart table was covered with a blanket of rosettes. “We wanted a fairy tale wedding and that’s exactly what we got. With the help of Sayles Livingston, Rosecliff was transformed into a white and light pink dream. Inside and out, she placed beautiful floral arrangements with romantic candles. Also, Blackstone Caterers orchestrated a superb dining experience. It truly was a beautiful day,” Marisa reminisced.

The Grand entrance softened with white flowers provided the perfect backdrop for photos.

Lilac & Honey

Flower garden hues of lilac and honey filled this modern, chic Boston hotel ballroom for a dreamy wedding.

Growing up, both Hillary and Zak’s parents were avid gardeners and took much pride in their designs. Hillary and Zak had visions of creating an indoor garden oasis for their ceremony and reception and Lo McShay of Lo Lo Event Design partnered with Poppy Floral Design to bring this vision to life. Meghan Perlow of Poppy Floral Design created a breathtaking floral Chuppah comprised of over 400 roses in creamy purple and honey hues. As a nod to Zak’s Moroccan heritage, paper lanterns with laser-cut Moroccan motifs were hung outside on the terrace where the cocktails were being served. The floral extravagance continued in the ballroom where terracotta pots overflowing with flowers and greens suspended from the ceiling hung over long mirrored tables. At the smaller tables, rose domes in three heights and shades added to the elegance of the room.

Art of Imagination

Art of Imagination — A canopy of hanging greenery and creamy flora create a magical garden inside a famous sculpture museum.

Molly and Max both had strong family roots in the artistic world. There was no doubt in either of their minds that the museum would be the perfect place to get married. Giving Marc Hall and his team little direction as to what they wanted, they created a floral design that enhanced the museum by bringing the outdoors inside. Delicate vines, branches, and flora hung from the ceiling creating a lush canopy. Tiny glass vessels lit by candles glowed warmly completing the indoor magical garden. “Our wedding planners, Nicole Simeral and Chelsea Bates, were an enormous help in making sure everything felt intimate and personal to us. When we learned my dad could not travel to the wedding due to illness, they brilliantly found a way to FaceTime him into the ceremony by attaching a phone to the Chuppah. Seeing my dad during the ceremony is one of my favorite memories from the day and something only Nicole and Chelsea could make happen,” Molly reminisced.
