September Promise – Real Wedding

An intimate seaside wedding filled with personal details unique to Elyse and Jacob as a couple…

The natural beauty and simplicity inherent to Cape Cod inspired Elyse and Jacob to host a wedding that showcased their love through delicate flowers, vintage accents, and personal mementos. “Elegant Engagements was amazing at making the experience as stress free as possible and the amazing flowers and unique, vintage accents from Lilacs really helped set the stage,” Elyse raved.

Flickering candles sprinkled along the tables warmed the clean white table setting.

Under a beautiful arch of greenery they said “I do.”

Vintage fish decoys served as escort cards & favors.

A striking bouquet of all-white blossoms was the epitome of clean elegance.

Donning their floral crowns & sky blue sashes, the junior bridal party prepped the aisle for their bride.

September Promise, a candle from the bride’s new candle line with a label custom-designed by the groom was given to each guest as a favor.

Late Summer Wedding – Real Wedding

The Bohlin, from the breathtaking views to the iconic location in Newport, RI, was the ideal venue for Caryn and Brendon to host their wedding.

For Caryn and Brendon having a quintessential New England wedding did not mean nautical themed décor; it meant an outdoor reception complete with a raw bar and vast ocean views that were dotted with sailboats and the occasional ferry drifting by. A soft palette of dusty greens, blush, and gold combined with personal touches helped to achieve the romantic elegance they had envisioned.

A bouquet of soft white blooms designed by Sayles Livingston Design evoked effortless beauty.

Ready to set sail on the adventure of a lifetime together!

Twinkling lights, gold accents, and fresh flora in dusty hues romanced the tent.

A dear family friend custom designed all the paper, including the menu cards adding a personal touch to the day.

An abundance of greens peppered with blush blossoms loosely perched upon shallow gold vases created the easy elegance Caryn dreamed of.

The day was filled with endless laughter and love.

Blush, Basil, and Cream – Color Theory

The Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estates with its impeccably manicured grounds and magnificent architecture, set the tone for a mellow color palette that enhanced the mansion’s historic beauty.

“It had such a distinct vintage feel, so we chose to keep everything else as timeless and neutral as possible,” Melanie described. Though the sun wasn’t shining, the bright clouds bounced light off of the surrounding trees and lawn creating an intense vibrancy that painted the perfect picture for Melanie and Jordan’s wedding day. Leafy floral arrangements featured tight textural blooms in cream and blush hues in golden goblets on the tables where cocktail hour was held. Dinner was held in the dining room with beautiful floor to ceiling windows that looked out onto the vast rolling hills lined with endless trees. The long table was sprinkled with leafy greens featuring pops of white buds. Mercury glass vessels held twinkling candles creating a warm and inviting ambiance for dinner to be served.

Soft Pink, Ivy, and Gold – Color Theory

With a honeymoon planned in France, it was fitting that Janelle & Mike had their wedding in a mansion that was modeled after Versailles. Soft pink tones mingled with fresh garden greens to evoke the Parisian-garden-elegance vibe that Janelle envisioned.

“I remember walking into Sayles Livingston’s studio, where she had coordinated with Stasia & Angela of Exquisite Events to put together a model tablescape based on my Parisian Garden Elegance wedding dream — I was blown away with the result then and on the day of our wedding,” Janelle raved. Guests were guided through the weekend of festivities by a custom welcome map designed by Sharon Morgera. A spectacular floral display atop sequined linen greeted guests in the foyer of the mansion as they found their table. The beautiful blush and cream floral runner that lined the long head table provided a lush foundation for tall crystal and gold candelabras, creating a magical setting for a Parisian-like night of dinner and dancing.
