BLISSbash 2019 – A Night to Remember

What. a. NIGHT! BLISSbash 2019 was one for the books… dare we say it was our best yet?

With the extraordinary talents of Ormonde Productions, Exquisite Events, Sayles Livingston Design, and Party Rentals LTD we transformed the industrious Waterfire Arts Center into a glamorous spring oasis.

Guests were greeted by an interactive wall designed by Exquisite Events. A white-gloved hand emerged through shimmery satin-covered windows; presenting each passerby with the 2019 edition of BLISS Celebrations. Our unique twist on “white-glove service” was a favorite, but it was the wall of champagne that really kicked off the night!

With champagne and magazine in-hand, guests meandered further into the sun-drenched space to network and snack on savory dishes crafted by Russell Morin Catering & Events.

Waterfire Arts Center is a vast space, but Party Rental LTD did a fantastic job at creating a sense of intimacy with a mix of high/low tables and cozy lounge areas.

Hive Events served up our signature drinks of the night from their vintage airstream. Shiny silver metal on the outside, warm and cozy on the inside!

Ormonde Productions set the tone for the evening with custom lighting. As the sun’s golden glow faded, soft purple up-lighting illuminated the space; bouncing off the giant silver orbs that hung from the rafters. The rhythmic sounds of Sugarbabies switched from instrumental classics to can’t-help-but-dance hits and the party really started!

Sabrina Scolari captured every memory for us to remember forever!

A Modern Garden at Lakeview Pavilion

Fresh white flora romances the chic, modern ballroom at Lakeview Pavilion.

Drawing inspiration from the floral extravagance and cake art of Tracy Morgan’s wedding, Christina and Soraya of S.Y.B Event Planning Services set out to find the perfect venue to accommodate her dream wedding. Her vision came to life the moment she walked through the grand doors of Lakeview Pavilion.

1. Crystal gold-edged chargers atop a mirrored table from Be Our Guest made the couple feel like royalty as they enjoyed their first dinner as husband & wife.

2. An all-white, multi-tiered wedding cake dripping in edible flowers, artfully crafted by Konditor Meister was the perfect end to a perfect day.

3. Each guest table featured a floral pillar surrounded by candlelight, warming each table.

4. Driving off to their honeymoon in classic, vintage style.

5. A traditional Lebanese dance kicked off the festivities.

6. Chiffon draping cloaked the gazebo in chic, elegance evoking a magical garden vibe.

The Magic of Ikebana – Real Wedding

The Japanese art of floral arrangement known as Ikebana was the foundation of design for this modern wedding.

Nicole was inspired by the clean lines of geometric shapes for their modern, sophisticated aesthetic and wanted her floral arrangements to embody that look. The architectural nature of Ikebana spoke to her and with the help of her planner Alexis of Unique Weddings by Alexis she found the florist to bring her vision to life. The couple was married under a Chuppah in front of vast windows overlooking the Boston skyline. Warm candlelight illuminated mini arrangements of tropical flora and cut monstera leaves at each cocktail table on the balcony during cocktail hour, setting the tone of the night. Inside, an infinite mirrored table paired with ghost chairs from Reserve Modern Event Rentals set the stage for tropical leaves that were wrapped and molded into shapes like mini art installations that stretched the length of the table. Guests feasted on a delicious meal before hitting the dance floor to dance the night away.

4. A whimsical bubble umbrella shelters the newlyweds from a light summer sprinkle.

5. Bountiful white flora bloomed from a milky-white vase, greeting guests as they found their table.
