Mt. Hope Farm evokes an English countryside vibe that was ideal for this styled shoot rich with vibrant flora and fashion.
“We wanted to showcase spring flowers in soft, but colorful shades of the rainbow and to show brides that colors doesn’t translate to ‘loud’ when styled right,” Yumiko of Hana Floral Design described. Collaborating with Exquisite Events, the opening to the barn was draped with white chiffon tied aside to reveal a sparkling chandelier above a whitewashed farm table surrounded by caned back chairs and a cozy linen loveseat. A pale blue linen runner lined the table for the vintage urns loosely filled with lush, textural flowers in vibrant coral, pink, and cerulean hues. Vintage china place settings and silver trays helped to define the English countryside look the team was going for. Beth Chapman of Beth Chapman Styling styled the bridesmaid in a rich, teal gown and the bride in a modern ball gown, complementing the bouquet of peonies, ranunculus, orange frittilaria & pale blue delphinium flawlessly.

Staying true to their aesthetic, the team at Flowers By Semia created a wild floral fantasy that evoked romance in an industrial setting.
Architecture and saturated color were their musings. “We wanted to play with an unexpected, saturated palette while staying true to the fiery tones inherent to the autumn landscape,” Semia Dunne of Flowers By Semia described. Deep fuchsia blooms and golden yellow ferns came together to form a beautifully untamed bouquet that rivaled the drama of the navy lace ball gown worn by the model. Beside her, an edgy metallic gown printed with teal and crimson velvet flowers was paired with a more textural bouquet of porcelain berry, yellow orchids, and other foraged flora. In the courtyard, a metal staircase overgrown with passion vines provided a natural canvas for a grand floral installation. Vibrant pink garden roses, golden ferns, burning bush, rusty rosehip branches, and bittersweet vines were added to the staircase creating the perfect setting for a passionate love story. The final chapter was an antique wooden farm table draped with smoky blue linen and decorated with copper tableware and an earthy centerpiece of aqua and mustered yellow flora.
“We love to design with nature in mind… to emphasize the natural movement integral to each bloom and vine, so we did it on a grand scale and chose a refreshingly bright palette for fall,” states Semia Dunne.
