Magenta & Sky – Real Wedding

Drawing inspiration from her fine arts background and love for Old Master floral paintings Madeline sought out the talent to bring her visions to life.

“Allison of Elegant Engagements is a force – they guided us through every step with creativity and enthusiasm,” Madeline raved. Driftwood lanterns set the path for guests to enter into the floral-filled tent. As a nod to the Cape Cod location of the wedding, Madeline chose soft blue and gold linens to subtly represent the landscape. Round tables featured tall crystal vases topped with greenery infused with pink blooms while long farm tables were lined with lush, floral garland in deep pink and magenta hues creating an organic, freshly-picked look. Sterling silver heirloom candelabras on the head table along with pillows and napkins embroidered with a custom-designed crest added a personal touch to the romantic garden party ambiance. As day turned to night, Moravian stars strung above by Ormonde Productions illuminated the tent with a warm glow to set the mood for dancing.

Earthy Elegance – Real wedding

With the help of Jen Chagnon of The Pink Polka Dot, high school sweethearts Caroline & Russell created an intimate setting for their summer wedding.

“We wanted our guests to walk away feeling like they had just attended a fun dinner party with loved ones — not a stuffy wedding reception,” Caroline explained. The barn was adorned with mementos from their upbringing, paying homage to their long history as a couple and creating warmth that traditional wedding décor would never achieve.

1. Pink Polka Dot designed a fanciful invitation suite iconic to Cape Cod to set the tone of the event.

2. Fragrant eucalyptus was woven into Caroline’s bouquet for a unique twist.

3. Under a canopy of fresh summer greens and white blooms Caroline & Russell finally tied the knot.

4. Olive branches and fresh eucalyptus lined wooden tables offering an unobstructed view of the person across the way to promote conversation.

5. The newlyweds enjoyed a quiet walk alone to catch their breath from the excitement of the day.

6. Ivory and blush roses softened the look of the wooden farm tables inside the tent.

Coral & Navy – A Pinehills Golf Club Wedding

Michelle and Jim gravitated to their favorite colors to develop a color scheme that was clean, fresh and timeless for their wedding in the Pavilion at Pinehills Golf Club.

“The exposed beams along with the entire wall of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course sold us at first glance,” Michelle recalled. The gazebo was topped with a garland of greenery with pops of lavender and coral flowers creating an ethereal scene for Michelle and Jim to be married. During the planning Michelle developed a love for Dahlias and wanted that bloom in coral and pink hues to be the standout flower. Dahlia-filled bouquets and arrangements were blended with blush roses and eucalyptus for dimension. Baby succulents were incorporated into the boutonnières and the cake paying homage to Jim’s favorite plant. Cream confetti shot out of a cannon at the end of the ceremony to kick off the party.
