Summer is finally here! The 4th of the July is right around the corner and there’s no better way to quench your thirst than with these coveted cocktails crafted by Forks & Fingers!
First up is the Cotton Candy Cocktail. This lively libation will transport you back in time to summer days spent at your local carnival…
For Cotton Candy:
Dehydrated Aperol – dehydrated in food dehydrator for 48 hours on 125 degrees
Place dehydrated Aperol in food processor to create a powder
Use powder as sugar in cotton candy machine
2 oz Empress 1908 Original Indigo Gin
.5 oz Rich simple syrup
.5 oz Clarified lemon juice
2 oz Soda water
Next up is the Vodka Bees Knees – light and refreshing with a dash of zest!
2 oz Chopin vodka
.5 oz Lavender infused local honey
.5 oz Natalie’s fresh lemon juice
Shaken, double strained into a chilled coupe glass, fresh lemon zest garnish
Last up is a true summer classic… the Mint Julep!
In a silver pewter cup combine:
1.5 oz Four Rose’s bourbon
.5 oz rich simple syrup
Fill pewter cup half way with crushed ice, Stir until cup is frosted. Add a final scoop of crushed ice. Garnish with a small bouquet of slightly crushed mint.
