The Boston Public Library was the picture-perfect venue for this sophisticated, elegant autumn wedding.
After meeting in a library and planting roots in Boston, it only seemed fitting that this couple tie the knot at the Boston Public Library. “The Boston Public Library felt like the perfect place to come full circle on our wedding day. And we may be biased, but we also think it’s one of the most beautiful spots in town,” the bride described. The couple met in the fall and felt it would also be fitting if they were married in the fall. They chose a beautiful warm, dark color palette with pops of gold and cream to create dimension and compliment the interior of the library. The idea was to create a wild garden vibe with overgrown arrangements scattered throughout the library so guests would feel the intimacy of the event. Low lighting and warm candlelight completed the look. A savory meal was served by The Catered Affair and ended with a three-tier wedding cake topped with fresh flowers.
