1. How did your business come to be?
I started out in graphic design and marketing before I got into corporate event planning. After several years of corporate event planning, I decided to take on weddings. I just loved the long term planning and relationship building with clients. To continue my focus on servicing and designing weddings, I started my own business.
2. What are the services you offer?
Full service wedding planning, wedding design, partial planning services, and month-of planning services.
3. Where are you located and how far will you travel to provide your service?
I operate out of Boston, MA, but I service weddings all over New England as well as destination weddings. I have worked on weddings from Anguilla and Bermuda to Pennsylvania and Washington DC.
4. How far in advance do you recommend clients to book?
One year is ideal, however, we are sometimes booked as far out as 24 months and sometimes in as little as 5 days prior to the wedding date. We have been hired 4 and 5 weeks in advance of weddings with little to nothing booked other than the date and venue. We can make any time frame work!
5. What is one piece of advice you always give to brides?
I tell all couples to enjoy their wedding no matter what unexpected things arise. If they look like they are having a great time, all of their wedding guests will feed off their emotions and they will enjoy themselves as well, even if something terrible, unplanned or unwanted has happened.
