Autumn foliage fills the historical Providence Public Library for this modern and masculine black tie affair.
After spending most of their relationship moving all around the country for their work, Providence had always felt like home to Patrick and Matt. Drawn to the architectural elegance and historical elements of the Providence Public Library, they knew they had to have their wedding there. Forgoing the traditional floral design, they opted to focus on autumn foliage in rich, masculine hues. “The Providence Public Library provides such a beautiful back drop; we preferred to enhance its historic features with our décor and lighting as opposed to transforming it,” Patrick described. Nicole Simeral of Simeral & Co helped make their dream wedding a reality by developing a design and sourcing the talent to help execute it. Custom up-lighting from Ormonde Productions illuminated a towering wishing tree in the space where the ceremony was held. In the reception area, massive arrangements comprised solely of magnolia leaves looked as if they were floating over every table. Candlelight warmed the room creating an intimate ambiance for dinner.
