Surrounded by floral elegance and the sentimental views of Newport Bay and the Pell Bridge, Amy and Scott became husband and wife.
Spending their weekends having picnics on the lawn of Fort Adams watching the boats pass in the bay made Amy and Scott realize they wanted this sentimental backdrop for their wedding. Flowers had also been a long-time sentiment in their relationship and wanted that to be the focal point of the reception. From there, they let their event designer Diana of Jubilee Events develop the décor and the team to execute it. “Paying ode to the nautical atmosphere surrounding us, I took a classic approach to the design, rich with colors of navy, champagne, and blush, and adding in pops of gold, with our flatware and china, and the gold foil edges and script of the stationery designed by Coral Pheasant Stationery + Design,” Diana explained. The tent was filled with an abundance of fresh flowers from Sayles Livingston Design under basket weave of ivory chiffon draped elegantly by Ryan Designs.
