This week’s Vendor Spotlight is on the Providence Biltmore; an icon in downtown Providence, RI. Learn all about what this historic hotel has to offer.
How did your business come to be?
The Providence Biltmore opened its doors in 1922 as a 600 room hotel. The unique V-shape design was created by NY architects Warren and Whitmore, who also designed NYC Grand Central Station.
Today the hotel features 294 guest rooms with two gorgeous ballrooms, unique L’Apogee function space, a full-service Spa, Starbucks coffee shop in lobby, and McCormick & Schmick’s Restaurant with a combined total of over 18,000 square feet of function space.

How far in advance do you recommend clients to book?
We are booking weddings up to 2 years in advance of wedding date.
What is one piece of advice you always give to the bride?
I recommend a bride and/or groom set an appointment with venue for a personal tour and to personally meet with the person(s) who will be working with you along the way up to the wedding day. The personal connection you achieve with your contact at a venue is very important to the success of your wedding!
