New Year’s Eve nuptials are celebrated with fireworks in the heart of Boston Common and a countdown to midnight.
The significance of the day and the New Year’s Eve date, Juliette and Noah felt compelled to a certain level of formality. Keeping it playful while setting the tone of the event the invitations read “black tie optional, dancing shoes required.” The bridal party certainly held up their end of the bargain as each member strutted into the ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common wearing Nike sneakers. Being mindful that many of their guests traveled from afar, Juliette and Noah placed small alarm clocks on each table which were set to go off at midnight in the countries and states represented at the wedding. The soft color palette of grays and pinks were illuminated with votive and pillar candles throughout the ballroom. “The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common and Winston Flowers were absolutely phenomenal on the decor front — on all fronts actually, but certainly the decor front. We loved the idea of a candle-lit ceremony and reception, primarily for the warmth and sense of intimacy that candles create,” said Juliette.
