The Vision: An intimate wedding by the walnut fireplace at Smith & Wollensky, dining on mouth-watering steaks and succulent seafood.
Architectural and antique elements at the historic Boston Castle were juxtaposed with modern trends to create an intimate dining experience. ”The inspiration behind this shoot was to showcase the existing architectural elements that the historical venue already offers, but exposing it in a different light by incorporating current trends with an antique feel,” described Catherine Leiras, Catering/Private Event Manger at Smith & Wollensky. A walnut farm table with custom stained infinity chairs from Peterson Party Center complimented the historically rustic charm of the room. Gold sponge chargers, gold Arezzo flatware, and loose floral arrangements in soft hues housed in antique vessels added chic romance to the head table. As a nod to current fashion trends (and the invitation suite), a plaid napkin was used amongst linens in varying textures and patterns from Table Toppers of Newton.
