Pantone Inspired Styled Shoot
Every year Pantone releases their color of the year. More often than not, brides, event planners, and floral designers look to the new hue as inspiration for their event. This year TWO colors made the cut: Serenity and Rose Quartz. Dawn Temple, of Bellaria Designs Photography drafted a team of amazingly talented event professionals to show off their creativity centered around the two colors. Inspired by its rustic charm, Dawn chose The Stone House in Little Compton, RI to host this styled shoot. “Using the location of the Stone House and its grounds as the backdrop, I knew I could create amazing images, incorporating the work of my team. My images captured the romanticism of the location, flora, and other design elements,” Dawn explained. The White Invite sent the vibe of the shoot with their whimsical Pantone watercolor invitation suite.
Rustic Roots Design created textural bouquets, floral crowns, and table garland in varying shades of Rose Quartz and Serenity. “Wanting to add in some other shades as well, we chose pink lisianthus, blue thistle, juliet and sahara roses, seeded and feather eucalyptus, blue hydrangea, dusty miller, white calcinea, lemon leaf, and pink tulips,” the team described.
Providence-based designer, Harper, from Seam Couture designed a beautiful gown that evoked true romanticism. The floral crown completed the look and added a rustic chic vibe.
A paper-like textured cake was the focal point of the dessert table created by A Piece Of Cake. Vintage met modern with lace texture, watercolors, and clean lines. Macrons scattered about were the perfect finishing touch.
