We love when brides and grooms get creative with their themes. One that we don’t often see is what we like to call woodland. Inspired by the beauty of the forest, it’s a twist on the rustic chic theme with a deeper focus on found elements; such as mini bird cages and antique candelabras to adorn the tables with. Woodland floral arrangements consist of branches, foliage, and fruits, tie it all together to create an enchanted forest vibe.
We headed over to the Providence Steel Yard where the Flowers By Semia studio is located to draw inspiration for our Woodland floral photo shoot. The industrial nature of her studio made for the perfect back drop for our table. The Flowers By Semia team created a bountiful arrangement of yellow roses, forged foliage, and branches, set atop a rustic window pane as the main focal point of the table. A vintage green velvet couch was used for seating on one side of the table, brightening the earthy color palette. Bird nests, antique candles sticks, and an etched gold place setting rounded out the overall design by adding a touch of whimsy.
