Both New England natives, Jackie and Jim knew they wanted a nautical wedding theme as a nod to their happy memories growing up on the water. Glen Manor House in Rhode Island was the perfect setting for their vision. The sea glass that can be found on the local shores inspired the color palette of vivid greens and blues. Semia, owner and designer at Flowers By Semia, created lush floral arrangements and introduced vibrant pinks to the mellow color palette—the pink bouquets popped perfectly against the bridesmaids sea foam green dresses.
After the ceremony guests were taken to the reception via trolleys, thanks to Viking Tours and Transportation. Every detail reinforced the nautical theme, from the invitations to the cake designed by Something Different Cake Couture. During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed what seemed to be an endless raw bar full of shrimp and oysters. Nautical striped linens provided by Rentals Unlimited covered each cocktail table on the patio. All these elements came together beautifully in the presence of family and friends, making this an unforgettable evening for the bride and groom.
