Peterson Party Center’s Table Design Series X

Our tenth installment of Peterson Party Center's Vendor Table Design Series is here for the month of  April! This table was designed by Laura Gifford Events, love the romantic, garden party look! The florals were by Flores Mantilla and photography from Barbara Lynch, and as always with this series, all the rental items are from Peterson Party Center and their showroom is transformed by the vendors involved! Great job all! Enjoy!

great gatsby inspired shoot from mstarr styling + design and kelly dillon photography

We love this Great Gatsby inspired shoot, and at the height of the summer blockbuster's hype, we couldn't wait to share it with you! The clean black and white furniture and decor provided by New England Country Rentals combined with the glamorous touches, like flowers by Tangerine Creations, rentals by Peterson Party Center, and linens by Table Toppers of Newton really gave this shoot that roaring 1920's vibe, but with somewhat of a modern kick. Emily Starr Alfano of mStarr Event Styling + Design did an amazing job recreating the glamor of the 1920's era, and we think that these beautiful photos could give anyone Gatsby fever! Reader Inspiration: Midnight, Charcoal, Champagne and Blush

Reader Kate replied on our Facebook Page that she wanted to see a wedding inspiration board for a "vintage glamor" type of event in the colors of midnight, charcoal, champagne and blush! What an exquisite palette, rich and deep with a hint of whimsy. We dove in and found some great ideas! Please enjoy!

A bouquet in the signature shades of champagne, midnight, and charcoal, like this one from Flowers by Semia, work so well with any color dress for the maids whether you decide to go darker like this image, or lighter with a blush pink or ivory.// Fun blush and champagne boleros would be perfect for an evening in May and add to the vintage elegance theme.  Try finding mix and match ones to let your girls express their personal style, like these from BHLDN.// Having the guys in charcoal suits is the perfect alternative to a traditional tux and keeps the palette a bit lighter, as in this photo by Corinna Razikov.  The boutineer from Flowers by Semia brings in a hint of pink in the dark succulent.// Glimmering dark charcoal chargers like these from Peterson Party Center add some glamor to your tablescape and will sparkle beautifully surrounded by tons of candlelight and would work well on a champagne cloth or even paired with gold flatware!// This table setting ads more of an eclectic vintage look with a matte charcoal linen, gold flatware, and a simple champagne colored plate and menu card.  The olive branch welcomes guests with a symbol of piece and ads a more natural look.// A glittery sequin midnight navy linen would be fabulous for your cake or dessert table, brining it out in the evening will really let it shine amongst hanging bistro lights or chic chandeliers.// A cake in Midnight or charcoal like this one from Confectionery Designs will pull the palette together.  Give them a glimpse at your dress and they can work with the design to make a seamless wedding style.// A vintage charcoal party dress with petite blush flowers would look lovely on your maids, or as a "get away" dress as you escape through a path of sparklers to your honeymoon.// When the lights go dim, swathing the room in a textured blush uplighting as done here by Ormonde Productions in an image from Erin McGinn at the Providence Public Library, lets guests know its time to party.// A very vintage style wedding dress from Elizabeth Dye, whose designs are available at Everthine Bridal Boutique, could be perfect for a daytime wedding or a more casual yet elegant evening.// A stationery suite in champagne and midnight from Paper Moss will let you guests know what to expect!// A peep of blush pink Louboutins from under your gown will complete the perfect palette.
