We hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. We are ready to take off for the weekend to enjoy the festivities with our friends and family, so we just wanted to share again these big and beautiful photos from our Thanksgiving table featured in our premiere issue. If you missed it, check it out in our e-zine. We used deep purple tones mixed with wood as opposed to the traditional orange and yellow, to give a warm, autumn feel to the table. Textural burlap playfully works with the fun ikat table linen, giving a new spin on the holiday. Burlap and birch bark covered candle hurricanes and votives to bring in even more design and style. Amethyst glassware pulls the purple in even further, and finishes the look.
Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays. Not just because we get to use the fancy china and set a pretty table, but because we take a moment to reflect on what we are thankful for over the past year before it comes to an end, and a new year begins. So we wanted to take a brief moment on our little blog here to tell you how thankful we are for all of YOU! We are thankful for our readers, who have gushed over our magazine and have carefully clipped pages of inspiration to bring with you when planning your mitzvahs, your weddings, your holidays. We are thankful for those of you who follow our blog, and take the time to leave a little comment, it truly means so much to us to hear you like what we are putting out there. In the world of instant social news, we are so thankful to all of you that follow us on Facebook and Twitter and Pinterest, that you choose Celebrations as a source of daily inspiration online. We are so thankful for the thousands upon thousands of you who have read our digital e-zine, who flip through it's pages on your computers and share it with your friends. We are so happy to share our magazine with you both digitally and in print. Finally, we are so thankful for our amazingly talented advertisers, who share their fabulous work with us and trust our team to showcase their businesses. Our jaws truly drop to the floor looking over some of the events we see, how much love, passion, and work goes into every event is astonishing, and to be able to print just a piece of that is so special to us. With full hearts we thank all of you. We hope you enjoy time with your family and friends this week and reflect on a year well celebrated. Enjoy!

I found this lovely little wedding over on Snap! Photography's blog and thought I'd just have to share. I love a beautiful multicultural wedding! And this one was no exception, beautiful venue, flowers, food, and more than anything-a beautiful couple.
The Providence Biltmore was the perfect backdrop for the early fall wedding reception, all decked out with lighting by Golden Gate and amazing floral design by Flowers By Semia. The sleek pairing of succulents and candlelight was a great juxtaposition when the bride, Liz, changed into traditional garb. A performance by the Brown University Lion Dancers was a highlight of the evening and afterward everyone rocked out to DJ Victor from Party Time.
Love the girls royal blue dresses, and of course, I can't help but point out the bride's ah-mazing Christian Louboutin shoes. What a stunning evening!
